Losing weight is not just about cutting down on the food you eat, nor is it about eating less than what you eat before and it’s not about eating properly planned, balanced meals either. Weight loss is never achieved by just eating right. The fact of the matter is this, fat is stored energy, which was once calories and carbohydrates before that since it was unused, it turns into fat. This is what you need to remove, you have to insure that the amount of calories you take is less than the amount you are able to burn, and there is only one way to burn them, exercise.
The Benefits of Exercise are too great to neglect. Unless you plan to starve yourself in the name of losing weight, you would have to perform daily physical activity for at least an hour a day to burn calories and fat. Without a proper exercise, all of these calories would continue to accumulate and eventually turn into fat.
If you don’t have time to go to the gym or to go jogging every morning, there are other ways for you to exercise. You can play with your kids every day, if you love to play golf then go for an 18-hole course without using a golf cart. Cleaning the house, gardening and other chores can help you lose weight as well. The important thing is that you move your body, you use your muscles and not just lay around the house so that you burn fat and not store them.
