4 Essential Foods To Help You With Weight Loss

Do you know that you can lose weight by eating certain foods? Sounds unbelievable, I know. After all, the so-called ‘experts’ have probably always advised you to starve in order to lose weight. Now, the foods I’m going to tell you about don’t contain any special metabolism-boosting chemicals that can help you with quick weight loss.

The fact is that your body needs to burn a lot of calories in order to digest these ’special’ foods. As you might be aware, the more calories you burn, the faster you lose weight!

As we become older, our metabolic rate slows down considerably! Ever wondered why most people gain weight during their middle age? During middle age, a person’s metabolic rate becomes low; hence he is not able to burn as much fat as he used to during his youth. Eating these ’special’ foods is, however, a good way of boosting your metabolic rate! In this article I will tell you about some of these foods:

1. Green Tea: If you are in the habit of drinking morning tea, replace it with green tea! Ordinary tea is not bad, but green tea is even better! It contains fat burning chemicals which will help you with weight loss. It is no wonder that many of the weight loss supplements available in the market have green tea as a common ingredient!

2. Peanut butter: Peanut butter is a great replacement for the ordinary butter. Unlike the ordinary butter, which is rich in fat, peanut butter is rich in protein and fiber, both of which will help you with weight loss. While protein will help you burn fat by building lean muscle mass, fiber will help in suppressing your appetite for a long time.

Peanut butter is available from any local store but I would recommend that you buy the natural ones and avoid the popular commercial brands. Or if you want, prepare it at home! Peanut butter makes for a great breakfast when combined with wholegrain wheat!

3. Almond: There are two types of fat available: the good and the bad fats. The bad fats should be avoided because they make you fat! The good fats, on the other hand, supply your body with essential nutrients such as fatty acids. Almond is one such food. It is rich in fatty acids and protein. Almond helps you burn fat by boosting your metabolic rate!

4. Beans: How successfully you are able to suppress your hunger will determine how fast you are able to lose weight. Beans make for a great appetite supplement. Since they are rich in fiber, they help to keep your stomach full for a long time.

3 Ways To Lose Weight The Easy Way!

Would you like to lose weight without having to eat boring meals and ironing it out for hours at the gym? If yes then I will tell you about three ways to lose weight fast! After you finish reading this article, you will notice how easy weight loss is!

1. Get rid of hunger: Getting rid of hunger is one of the most important things you need to do in order to lose weight successfully. If you are always hungry, you will always eat, and weight loss will never happen. You should eat foods that can keep you full for a long time. Fiber-rich foods such as lentils, legumes, nuts, apples, peas, etc. are good foods that not only suppress your hunger but also keep your digestive system healthy!

2. Drink more water: Believe it or not, you can lose at least 7-10 extra pounds just by drinking enough water. How? When you don’t drink enough water, your body stores water inside, so as to meet any future water scarcity. Your body won’t hoard water like this if it feels that there is an abundance of water. To assure your body of this abundance, you should drink at least eight glasses of water daily!

I have found that people managed to lose a minimum of seven pounds once they started drinking more water! Once your body gets water regularly, it will stop hoarding water and flush out any excess water that it has stored!

But this is not where the many benefits of water end. Water also boosts your metabolic rate, which helps you burn fat and lose weight. Water also detoxifies your body. When your body has gotten rid of all the toxins, you will not only lose some more pounds, but also feel better!

3. Hula Hooping: If you want to lose weight without exercises, hula hooping is a fun way to do it. All you need is a $10 weighted hula hoop. Just twirl it around yourself for at least one minute at a time. You need to do this exercise for ten minutes everyday, but if you cannot do it all at once, don’t worry. Just do it whenever you find a little time.

If you do it only ten times per day, each time spending just one minute on it, you will be able to lose weight. Plus it is fun to do!

As you can see, weight loss doesn’t have to be hard and scary. Follow the three tips above and see how easily you shed those extra pounds!

3 Surefire Ways to Lose Weight Quick!

If you’re addicted to television or radio, you are already aware of the fact that there are a countless number of diet pills, weight loss supplements, exercise gadgets, herbal pills, etc. all claiming to help you lose weight in some way or other. Research a little deeper and you will find that most of these solutions just thrive on fake promises and hype. None of these solutions offer you lasting solution to weight loss, not to mention that they are pretty darn expensive.

If you don’t have a lot of money to spend (or rather say, waste) on weight loss products then don’t worry. You can achieve weight loss for free, if only you are willing to make the required modifications in your lifestyle habits!

1. Do a variety of exercises: Whenever you exercise, you should have two aims in mind: to burn fat as well as build muscles. Now, there are exercises that are specifically made for building muscles, but they won’t help you burn much fat. Examples of such exercises are abdominal crunches and push-ups.

Now of course it is true that the more muscles you have the more fat you will burn, but why not instead do the workouts that are specifically made for fat loss? Or even better, do a combination of all of these workouts, so that you can burn fat as well as build muscles at the same time!

The best exercises for fat loss are cardios. Swimming, walking, running, jogging, cycling, etc., would all help you burn fat!

2. Add some fun to your exercise routine: Exercises needn’t be boring, unless you force yourself to do something you don’t really want to do! If you don’t like the idea of daily jogging, you will soon feel bored of it. So why not do something that you really like? Do you like dancing? Do you like swimming? Do you like playing table tennis or badminton? Believe it or not, all of these activities will help you burn fat and lose weight. So pick up an activity and just do it. The key is to move your body as much as possible!

3. Add negative calorie foods to your diet: Exorcises should only form part of your weight loss plan. If you eat junk foods then even 6 hours’ of workout won’t be of much help for you! If you are serious about weight loss, you also need to change your eating habits. Try to add negative calorie foods to your diet. Negative calorie foods are the ones that will help you burn more calories than the calorie content of the food itself. The ultimate result is that your body receives fewer calories than what it burns! Eventually you are bound to lose weight.

Examples of such negative calorie foods are broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, etc. In fact, most of the raw fruits and vegetates available out there would do the job!

3 Reasons Why Most Diet Plans Don’t Work

3 Reasons Why Most Diet Plans Don’t Work

If you have ever followed the so-called ‘fad diets’, you know that most of them don’t work as far as permanent weight loss is concerned. Sure, you will lose some pounds when you follow that diet, but those pounds will come back as soon as you stop following that diet plan. Strange as it may sound to you, it is true. There are actually three reasons why it happens:

1. Those diet plans really don’t help you lose fat: When you are on a diet, all you lose is watery weight and valuable muscles. You don’t lose FAT, the thing you need to do lose in order to get rid of fat belly and flabby arms! Therefore, as soon as you get back to your normal eating habits, the muscles and water come back, and you regain weight!

2. They are too strict for the average individual: Often, when on a diet, you have surely felt cravings for your old, favorite foods. Such cravings are only natural! After all, how long can you forget about those tasty fried foods which used to be your friends even till a few days ago? After a few days of strict diet, you soon feel bored of it and want to eat fried foods. If you eat fried foods, you will gain weight! But if you don’t eat that, you will gain even more weight!

When you deprive yourself of your favorite foods for too long, you suffer from stress. When you’re stressed out, you eat more than your appetite in order to ward off stress. This causes an unnatural weight gain. Ultimately the diet proves to be a waste of time and effort!

3. They slow down your metabolism: This is especially true for the low-calorie, low-fat, and low-carb diets. I don’t know if you are aware of the fact that the higher your metabolic rate is, the faster you are able to burn fat and lose weight. But to keep your metabolic rate high, you must supply your body with enough fat, carbs and calories. If you eat those ‘low’ diet plans, your metabolic rate will also be low.

When your body notices that you have reduced your food intake to an abnormal level, it assumes that you are going to kill it by fasting! It will therefore take steps to save itself from untimely death, and the major step it takes is that of energy conservation in the form of fat! Instead of burning your fat deposits as you would like it to be, your body stores them instead so that it can survive present and future famines. If that happens, will you lose or gain weight?

Life, however, doesn’t have to be as hard as you think. When you are following a ‘diet’, you are basically forcing yourself to eat something that you don’t enjoy eating! Realistically speaking, while it is not possible for you to stop eating your favorite foods altogether, you can surely reduce their intake!

No one said that you need to eat only natural and healthy foods in order to lose weight; it is also not very realistic. Natural foods can help you with weight loss but of what use are they if you cannot eat them for long? A good approach is to have a diet plan where 70% will contain “good” foods and the rest 30% will contain the “bad”, junk foods. This way, you not only satisfy your food cravings but also make sure that you don’t eat too much of the “bad” foods. As such, there is very little danger of an abnormal weight gain.

Also, try not to eat at odd times, such as after 7 p.m., or before going to bed. If you eat at those times your body won’t be able to burn off all the calories that you consume, and the unburned calories will get deposited in your body as fat!

3 Easy Ways to Lose Weight Within Weeks!

If you are woman and want to lose weight quickly, then this article is for you. I will tell you about three ways to lose weight within just a couple of weeks flat! Whoever said you cannot lose weight within that short time must be totally ignorant of the latest weight loss strategies. My question is, in the modern age where we are discovering new weight loss tactics, why should you stick to the age-old formula of diet and exercise that simply take too long to give you any tangible results?

1. Raw Coconut oil: You probably already know that coconut oil is good for our hair. Coconut oil makes our hair healthy and strong! What you may not know is that you can also lose weight with it! Take one tablespoonful of raw coconut oil and rub it on your hair. Do it twice a day, and see the results! I recommend this weight loss strategy to several of my prospects and believe it or not, they ended up losing more pounds than what they expected, that too, within just two weeks.

Lots of people have forgotten about this old and natural method to keep their hair and body healthy. They are after the latest and greatest fads. Don’t be one of those fools. Remember that the best weight loss strategies are always the simplest and most natural!

2. Spin yourself: Do you remember the last time when you spun yourself round and round? It must be during your childhood. Okay, even if you are an adult now, there is no reason to shy away from this sport. It is fun, and it is no ordinary sport either, because it helps you lose weight.

No, unlike conventional workout programs, it doesn’t burn calories and fat. Instead, it plays with your hormones in such a way that your body is forced to burn the fat all by itself. Within a very short time, you will see that you have lost more weight than with diet and exercises combined!

3. Walk on sloppy grounds: If you are addicted to hilly areas, this weight loss method would be fun for you. All you need is to walk down hills. The hills need to be slightly sloppy. Walk for just twenty minutes per day and see how easily you lose weight. Plus it is a fun exercise, right?

You can also do it by walking on a sloppy treadmill. Again, the treadmill should be only slightly sloppy.

Follow these tips and see if you don’t lose all of your nasty pounds within a week or two!

2 Steps To Successful Weight Loss

You have probably heard a lot about the importance of positive thinking in weight loss. If you keep harboring negative thoughts, you will never be able to lose weight. On the other hand, if you become a positive thinker, weight loss will become easy for you. Let me give you an example.

Believe it or not, you are unable to lose weight because you believe that you are fat; chances are that, you even hate yourself for the same reason. Now, if you believe yourself to be thin instead. can you imagine the positive impact it can have on your weight loss goals? Your mindset and attitude can make or break your weight loss goals. In this article I will tell you how to develop a positive mindset.

Remember though that just as you cannot lose weight overnight, you also cannot transform your negative thoughts into positive ones within a very short time. So be patient with yourself and try to incorporate these changes slowly into your life!

1. The reason behind your weight loss: What is the big reason behind your weight loss efforts? Why is it that you want to lose weight? Is it simply because you are unable to bear with the taunts you receive from your office colleagues, or is it because you keep getting turned down for dates, or is it simply because you want a figure like your favorite celebrity whose photo you recently saw in a magazine? Whatever it is, write them all down on a piece of paper. Note down all the reasons behind your weight loss endeavors, no matter how small or big they are!

For best results, buy some Post–It-Notes(r) stickers and write down everything on such a sticker, and make copies of it on other stickers. Then stick those stickers at every corner of your house so that you are reminded of your weight loss goals everyday. Don’t forget to stick them on your kitchen and refrigerator as well: those are the places where you are most likely to be tempted to eat the ‘forbidden foods’ or ‘cheat’ on your diet program!

2. Motivation and realistic goals: Now it is time to set some realistic goals for yourself. To do that, you need to know your ideal body weight, and then subtract that from your current body weight. The resulting figure you now get is the amount of body weight you got to lose to acquire the kind of figure you want.
Now, realistically, you cannot lose more than 2 pounds per week. Do the math and find out how many pounds you can lose a year from now. Again, be realistic in your goals, as unrealistic goals serve no purpose. If you weigh 100 pounds or more, don’t expect to gain a svelte figure like Jessica Alba within a month!

Once you have set your goals, you now need some motivation that will help you achieve your weight loss goals. What you will use to motivate yourself will depend on the reason behind your weight loss. If you want to be like your favorite celebrity, hang the pictures of that celebrity all around your house. Side by side, also hang your picture with your current body weight! That would be more than enough to keep you motivated!

2 Reasons Why Low Calorie Diets Fail To Work

2 Reasons Why Low Calorie Diets Fail To Work

Planning on choosing a low calorie diet to lose weight? Consider this before you try:

Many people have emailed me saying that they’ve been following the latest low calorie plan now for a few weeks, but they haven’t lost as much weight as they wanted to. Worse yet the weight loss seems to have stopped and it’s so difficult to follow that their considering quiting the diet.

One reason why the low calorie diet seems destined to failure is that by cutting calories you’re also cutting back on the body’s fuel supply. The body then signals the brain that you’re not getting enough food so it better slow down it’s metabolism to compensate, thus slowing your body’s fat burning process. Energy levels also decline and along with it the desire to do any physical activities such as exercise.

To be successfully lose any weight you’ll need to keep several things in mind.

1. Calories isn’t the enemy if it’s used to supply the body with fuel for energy. But there’s a whole lot of difference in the kind of calories that you choose to eat. If you eat healthy nutritious well balanced meals your body will have the right fuel needed to keep metabolism and energy levels up. However, if you stuff yourself with fast food burgers it’s much more likely to be stored as fat, making you sluggish and robbing you of energy. There’s a whole lot of difference in 2000 calories empty calorie junk food verses 2000 calories in wholesome nutritious foods.

2.Consider strength training. Muscle burns more fat then just normal tissue. When you cut back on calories the body tends to lose muscle as well. Making sure you eat enough protein is one way to combat this. But, lean muscle also enhances the fat burning process. Strength also tends to keep the metabolism higher which helps fat burning.

Most low calorie diets will also give you the false impression of weight loss early in the diet by helping to get rid of any excess water and not by getting rid of fat. Carbohydrates store more water so having less of them by eating a low calorie diet will mean less water weight as well.

2 Little Known Weight Loss Super Foods

Weight loss doesn’t mean that you have to go hungry for days in order to shed a few pounds. You can lose weight and eat at the same time! Wondering how is it done? In this article I will tell you about two little known weight loss foods that you can eat in order to lose weight fast. The weight loss industry experts call these foods ’super foods’.

Okay, before I go on to mention the special ’super foods’, it is important that I tell you about some basic principles of weight loss. Keep in mind that weight loss is not possible by being a couch potato; if you are serious about losing your belly fat then you need to move away from your favorite couch and indulge in some sort of physical activities, preferably intense workouts that last for at least half-an-hour.

It is also important to start eating healthy foods such as raw fruits and vegetables. Processed and junk foods are the sole reasons why you are in this position today; obviously, if you want to become slim and fit, you need to forget about those foods.

At the same time you also need to forget about dieting, particularly the low-calorie, low-fat and low-carb diets. Healthy diets are always welcome, but these particular diet programs make you unhealthy, not to mention that they don’t help you with weight loss.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you should get plenty of sleep everyday. Sleep is your friend. If you don’t sleep you will get stressed, eat lots of junk foods and be back to square one! You definitely don’t want that to happen to you, do you?

Okay, now let me tell you about those two special weight loss foods.

1. Beef Liver: Yeah I know that it doesn’t taste even half as good as beef, but hey, if you are serious about weight loss, this one should be included in your meals. Remember that beef liver contains protein, which will build strong lean muscle tissues for you. The more lean muscles you have, the more calories you will burn, because muscles burn more calories than fat.

2. Canned Tuna: Those who say that you shouldn’t eat fats at all must be fooling you. As a matter of fact, you should avoid only the “bad” fats that are available in the junk and fried foods; “good” fats are always welcome. One such example of good fat is tuna. Canned tuna also contains a healthy dose of protein. It is not rich in calorie either. If you eat one can of tuna you will consume only 120 calories.

Did anyone tell you that it is not possible to lose weight by eating?

2 Simple Ways To Beat That Weight Loss Plateau

Have you ever started a new diet program and you lose a few pounds the first several weeks only to discover that the scale seems to get stuck at that weight and not go down anymore?

Sure you know what I’m talking about. You start the latest fad diet and you’re ecstatic when you begin to see the scale start to go down. But then after a few weeks it stops going down and seems to be stuck. You’ve hit a plateau and realize the instant weight loss is only temporary. One remedy for that problem is a change in lifestyle habits.

You’re probably doing the same exercises over and over again and while it was effective for the first few weeks your body soon adapts and gets accustomed to your routine and you stop getting the same results.

To go beyond this plateau you need to change your diet and exercise routine. Here’s several methods to get out of that rut that you’re in.

1. Cutting back and counting calories isn’t the way to go. As you cut back on the calories your body slowly begins to adapt by slowing down your metabolism to compensate. That’s part of the reason why weight loss is effective at first, but then it begins to slow down.

In order to keep your metabolism and energy levels high you need to eat more often. Notice I didn’t say more, but more often. By eating several smaller mini meals and snacks rather then 2-3 large meals you’ll be spreading out your calories more evenly throughout the day and the calories will be less likely to be stored as fat.

2. Increase your physical activity during the day, exercise if necessary. Dieting and exercise has proven to be highly effective in losing that extra weight. The extra activity will help to speed up your metabolism and burn off the fat. Long slow aerobic exercise such as walking everyday is an excellent way to burn unwanted fat. It’s simple and anyone can do it without the need for special or expensive equipment.

The Simple and Proven Weight Loss Strategy Nobody Uses

The Simple and Proven Weight Loss Strategy Nobody Uses

Why is it so difficult to lose weight even while there are numerous different kinds of weight loss methods available out there? That is because most of these methods don’t work in the long run. People who use and follow them ultimately realize how futile weight loss can be! They become frustrated and disappointed with themselves as they are unable to reach their weight loss goals. In this article I will tell you about a simple and fool proof fat burning method.

This method is very simple but thanks to the hype generated by the fad diets and exercise videos, it has never been given its due importance. People, in absence of a proper path, are just jumping from one weight loss fad to another, with little success.

The simple weight loss method I am talking about is that of eating healthy and exercising regularly.

As simple as it may sound, it is a proven and time-tested weight loss method. Even if tomorrow all the diet pills and supplements stop working, this method will continue to work.

Remember though that neither diet nor exercise alone can help you with weight loss. Let’s say that you are eating all the right kinds of foods: green vegetables, foods rich in protein and fiber, etc. But since you are not burning off the excess calories left in your body by working out, the unburned calories ultimately get deposited as fat.

Similarly, working out in the gym for hours is of no use if you eat junk foods all the day; weight loss is all about eating less and burning more but here you are eating almost the same amount as what you are burning.

Only when you combine diet with exercise will you be able to get rid of fat belly.

When you eat the right foods, your meals will naturally be low on calorie content. Your body will burn off most of the calories for producing energy; however, there will still be surplus calories that will remain unburned. Exercises will help in burning off those excess calories. By burning your fat deposits, exercises will provide you more energy and help you lose weight at the same time.

Talking of dieting, I am all for healthy eating but totally against crash dieting or starving. Neither crash dieting nor starving will help you lose fat; if anything, you will gain even more pounds than what you began with!
